Long before our rotolining specialisation, Troost Coatings made its name on the outside of steel — wrapping pipelines with GRE coating. In 1999, EHRI Pipeline took this over and developed a new, flexible system.
Our Pipeline division developed the EHRI® GRE coating: a steel-adhering, two-component fibreglass-epoxy system, born in 1979, that wraps pipes in a flexible, self-repairing underlayment and a spark-proof, impact- and chemically-resistant top layer — quadrupling the service life of steel pipes, above and below ground. After years we have now stopped with this; since 2026 we are no longer active in this field.
